A family palet game: easy to understand, precise to master and strategic enough to make you want a rematch.
Paléoh! keeps the essence of the palet game : a throw, a target and the search for the perfect move. We added a more contemporary, more tactical and more accessible twist.
The game is played from age 6 to 101. With family, friends, children or grandparents, everyone can play at their own level.
No need to be an expert. Precision comes with practice, strategy with experience.
Paléoh! is designed as an indoor and outdoor palet game. A game can be played in the garden, on a terrace, in a hall, in a garage or simply at home, depending on the space available.
Its foldable format makes it quick to set up and just as easy to put away.
An improvised game can start almost anywhere. Just unfold the board and throw.
At Paléoh!, you don’t just play to score points. You play to take the lead.
Paléoh! is played by 2 to 6 players. One against one for a precise, intense duel, two against two to start building a strategy, or three against three for a more collective game.
Each player has a role, but every throw can have consequences for the whole team.
That’s what makes Paléoh! work just as well as a duel game as a friendly family game.
Paléoh! is first and foremost a game of skill and precision. But the real strength of the game lies in what happens after the throw.
Should you go for points? Block an opponent’s palet? Defend your position? Or try a riskier shot?
Just like in pétanque, you can make a precise throw to push or move an opponent’s palet.
A single throw can completely change the layout of the board.
The goal is simple: reach exactly 500 points.
But watch out on the home stretch. If your team goes over 500 points, the score from that round is cancelled.
You go back to your previous score.
This rule creates all the tension of the endgame. A few points from victory, the best choice is not always the most aggressive one.
At Paléoh!, the trajectory and final position of each palet are essential.
If a team’s palet ends up on the opposing side, the points for its position go to the opposing team.
A precision error can therefore become an opportunity for the other team.
You have to learn to play with the board, with the palets and above all with risk.
Paléoh! is played 1 VS 1, 2 VS 2 or 3 VS 3. Each team has its own palets.
Players throw their palets in turn to score points or change the position of the opponents’ palets.
A precise throw can push or move an opponent’s palet, like a precision shot in pétanque.
When a palet ends up on the opposing side, the points for its position are awarded to the opposing team.
The goal is to reach exactly 500 points. The first team to reach this score wins the game.
If a team goes over 500 points, it goes back to its previous score. So you need to take the right risk at the right time.
This contrast is what defines Paléoh! The rules are easy from the very first game, but each player quickly develops their own way of playing.
A child can beat an adult. A beginner can surprise a regular. A team that’s behind can come back in the final rounds.
Because at Paléoh!, everything can change with a single throw.
